CALLAWAY UNVEILS APEX 19 IRONS

Callaway Golf’s new Apex 19 and Apex 19 Pro irons, which go on sale from January 25, are precision engineered to deliver an unmatched forged design, with innovative ball speed technology, and optimal ball flight and trajectory.

APEX 19

Extremely soft feel comes from a forged mild carbon steel body that features urethane microspheres that absorb unwanted vibration without slowing the face.

Long, consistent distance in the long and mid irons comes from the 360 Face Cup, which promotes high ball speeds across the face. In the short irons, a spin control VFT Face enables aggressive shot-making, while precisely placed tungsten weighs further enhances scoring performance, allowing to precisely locate the CG position in each iron while maintaining the flexibility of the Face Cup for optimum launch and control.

Offered in a platinum chrome or smoke finish, the Apex 19 irons are available 3-PW and come with True Temper’s new Elevate 95 shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips.

APEX PRO 19

The Apex Pro 19 is a completely new iron category for Callaway, in that it is first forged Tour-orientated iron that the company has produced that features advanced distance technologies.

In that respect, it is aimed at better players who want all the benefits of a Tour-level design, but without sacrificing ball speed or distance.

To create the Apex Pro 19, Callaway sought extensive input from the world’s best players. Their detailed feedback played a significant role in how the finish product looks and feels. Where the Apex 19 Pro differs from the Apex 19 model is the overall design, which features a straighter leading edge, higher toe, thinner top line, and a smoother hosel transition – all of which are preferred by elite players.

The head is made from forged from mild carbon steel, and like the Apex 19 irons, features Callaway’s unique urethane microspheres A total of 50g of tungsten is placed into each iron to locate the centre of gravity positioning for exceptional ball flight and pinpoint control.
